You've already been to hell and back and discovered the power at the front of a room.
"Tell and Sell" is the event where we uncover the secrets of the two remaining parts of a good free talk (but it works just as well for paid events)
This aspect of your business is so important that I've made it a Live In Weekend Intensive so you have the correct amount of free time and focus to get the right results from the weekend.
We will be "wholed up" for three days in the Tasma House Music and Arts Retreat, a guest house since the 1930s, comprising a beautiful Nineteenth Century homestead and half a dozen ancillary buildings, all nestled in one-and-half acres of gorgeous landscaped gardens.
The grounds include many serene and beautiful spaces like the wistera walk which is pictured right |
 |
Even if you don't speak formally you need to know how to onsell your other programs at your workshops and live events without appearing pushy or salesy in the process.
The "Tell and Sell" formula will give you the keys to the kingdom when it comes to creating multiple streams of income and helping more people.
Specifically in this workshop we will learn about:
• The middle AND the end of your talk (The Tell & Sell Part)
How to craft a talk that will keep the audience riveted
How NOT to bore the pants off an audience by making it about you or your modality
Further experiment with story telling in your talks
• Get comfortable with the money (once and for all!)
Get relaxed with the numbers and conversion rates
Learn how to create need in an audience without them feeling "sold to"
Understand the steps you need to take when you make your offer
• What can go wrong and how to avoid those fatal errors
The one key thing you MUST understand before you enter the sell
How to leave the talk with a heap of warm leads to follow up when you get home
Just like HELL Tell and Sell will focus on keeping it authentic and real and will further encourage you to think about your message to the world and how you are going to get heard.
You will simply learn how to make money from free talks and how to make your offer in under 5 minutes, leaving the audience loving you and wanting more.
We will also go over the "must haves of a free talk"
 |
• How to break your "offer" down into very specific steps
• How exactly to offer your complimentary consultations
• How exactly to get people to register for your newsletter
• The "Big 8" critical success factors of the offer |
This is NOT a power selling course or a power sell from the podium event - its about getting your message out to the world with love.
But if you don't know the formula and try to onsell other programs you will end up looking like a pushy shonky tonk with no integrity.
This event will give you the confidence to actually speak at those engagements you have been arranging!

Money Matters
Speaking and healing aren't usually seen together but the more I see people gain the confidence to speak - the more I see them heal long standing issues. The biggest thing I see holding most natural therapists back is their money hang ups. |
So the other part of the speaking puzzle we will be unlocking is healing your fear of money and selling.
When this course ran for the first time in Noosa the participants plonked thier butts on the chairs and immediately started to "run their money stuff" without any encouragement from me. In fact it was a nightmare for me because I had to change the whole workshop around to deal with what they were going through.
It hit home to me the importance of getting over the money stuff because to be able to make the most of the opportunities that speaking brings to you - you must drop your "money stuff".
Don't worry I'm not going to turn you into something nasty but to help more people you need to overcome all the money falsehoods that have been fed into your head over the years by well meaning people. In fact I've come to understand that unless you are comfortable with the universal concepts of money, you will always waiver when it comes to making your offer.
Over the course of the weekend we will start to work to break down your fears and negativity around money, so you can confidently make your offer and clearly articulate how much benefit people will receive when they work with you.
If you want to secure more clients and make more money from your talks then this weekend is for you.
What Can You Expect
Like HELL you will get
A heap of real world tips
A ton of value
No B.S. just honest knowledge
A loving & nurturing environment
FUN & laughter & duckies
A kick up the butt if you need it :-) |
|
Being at Tasma you might even get to meet the real Mz Duckie who has outsmarted every maurading fox and dog in Daylesford and still calls the Tasma Pond home most of the time.
Overcoming the Fraud Within
TELL & SELL is very much like HELL - it starts out to teach one specific thing but it finishes by creating a magic no one was ready for.
HELL tended to open things up
TELL & SELL tends to close things down - things like feeling like a fraud and letting money get in your way of success.
The thing that stopped me the most in the early days was that I felt like a fraud because how could I teach people when I'd done such a lousy job at the start of my business.
Overcoming the Fraud Within occurs when you truly understand what you do for the people you work with and that magic is often within your message.
This course helps, at a very deep level, drop the fraud and often for the first time truly understand how much of a difference you can make on the planet by being and packaging up "the warts and all you".
The format
Same format as HELL - the first part is theory and the second part you speak again and put it all into action.
We will do a little revision but TELL & SELL is only for people who have been to HELL so we won't be pulling newbies along - its straight out of the starting blocks into the new knowledge in the first session.
We definitely dont leave until everyone has been heard (like last time)
A basic guide to the weekend
Friday Morning
• Registration
• Meet and Greet
• Money Matters
Saturday Morning
• I present the theory of Tell and Sell
Saturday Afternoon and Evening
• You go away and write & practice your 20 minute talk
This is a lot harder than you might think because you will be digging right into the "who am I" question (again!)
We will be in a wonderfully creative environment surrounded by a beautiful garden with two ponds and a big old warm cosy nurturing house. Its a "no fail" situation |
 |
Sunday (all day)
• More theory in the morning
• Then you present for 20 minutes (you do YOUR hell, tell and sell)
Each participant will present for 20 minutes with feedback and comments from myself and the group (just like in Hell). Remember the miracels we saw in Hell - well I can promise you we will see them again.
What to Expect
We will be workng hard all weekend but it will be in a very relaxed environment which will mean we can include things like meditation, walks, being out in the garden if weather permits and maybe even some group meals together if everyone feels up for it.
The property is very funky groovy and designed to allow situations where creativity can flow.
• You will leave with the theory and practical application to be able to present a free talk to small groups
• PLUS more of the miracles we experienced last time as we recreate that protective nurturing place where souls can safely soar.
• AND prepare for me to be left speechless again at the end.
None of us quite know what happens ......... but it happens!
"When you can articulate well what you do,
you'll become even better at it."
Thomas Leonard
PLEASE NOTE: To do this course YOU MUST AGREE TO LEAVE TIME TO PREPARE YOUR TALK on Saturday afternoon and evening
You will be resident in Daylesford (the Spa Capital of Australia) for the weekend but maybe leave the massages and facials for another time - please ensure you have enough time to really integrate all you learn here because truly, this knowledge changed my life and I'm not joking when I say it is the keys to the kingdom.
There is only room for SIX
so if you want a spot
BOOK NOW!

in other words you must have gone to HELL to attend TELL & SELL
If you haven't done HELL yet - the details of the next event are here:

Book for the EARLY BIRD PRICE of $600
and SAVE $390
Early bird ends 31 July 2010 unless sold out prior
YOUR TICKET PRICE INCLUDES BASIC SHARE ACCOMODATION
FOR TWO NIGHTS AND THREE DAYS
Tasman House is very unique and groovy but its a little hard to "get" until you get there.
To get exclusive use of the conference room and kitchen where we will be working (pictured right) I have to hire the whole house.
That means I can give you a basic but comfortable bedroom in the house for FREE plus a shared bathroom. |
 |
So when you purchase a ticket for $600 it includes the cost of the course AND includes your own comfy double bedroom for your exclusive use but you share the bathrooms with the other participants.
 |
We will have access to the whole house which includes four bedrooms, two guest lounges, two kitchens, two bathrooms and a music room.
PLUS access to the beautiful land scaped gardens and surrounds.
The house is centrally heated and even has a grand piano! It really is the perfect creative space. |
The Mill Markets and cafe are at the end of the street if you need that essential coffee hit
THE FIRST FOUR TO BOOK GET A BEDROOM ANS BATHROOM INSIDE THE HOUSE!
Last TWO people to book get a BUNGALOW
If the course fills it will mean two people get their own bungalow just outside the main building BUT you will need to run inside to use the bathroom.
These tickets will be $550 |
|
 |
 |
 |
So if you are the brave type that doesn't mind a chilly midnight
dash to the main house (about 20 paces) then you might choose this option and pay $50 less for the weekend.
If you are a procrastinator and don't book fast you may end up
doing the midnight dash - so book now to be inside the house! |
|

Other Accomodation Options
This is optional for the people who don't like to share.
There is ONE fully self contained unit on the property for anyone who doesn't like to share - this is the upmarket option within the grounds.
SO you still need to buy your ticket at $600 plus the additional cost is $350 (single or couple) to rent the Potager self contained unit for two nights. Making the total cost for this option $950. |
 |
You can also choose to stay independently or at one of the more upmarket holiday rentals but the ticket price stays the same at $600 early bird price. I recommend Daylesford Getaways if you seek the full spa country getaway experience.

Guest Kitchen |
You Will BYO Food For All Your Meals
I will try to streamline this once people have purchased tickets but I'm really trying to keep it simple and keep the costs down initially
There are two kitchens for you to prepare meals OR you can choose to eat out at any of the vibrant cafes or restaurants around town. |
Don't get too hung up on the food because this ain't no ordinary country town.
We have many gourmet or organic farmgates nearby, scrumptious delis, two supermarkets for your basic needs and Tonnas who specialise in fresh fruit and vege and Italian style groceries - so you aint' gonna starve!
If you are coming from interstate I'll drive you to the shops to get what you need and most things are 5 minutes away from anywhere and open all weekend around these parts.
The reason I'm being vague is becuase my people have so many different dietry requirements that I need to know who is coming before I can plan anything. I will speak to each participant after you book so we can figure out what your needs are and how we can make things work for you.
I can promise you will never go home hungry from one of my events.
Morning and afternoon tea will be catered by me

A guest house since the 1930s, comprises a beautiful Nineteenth Century homestead and half a dozen ancillary buildings, all nestled in one-and-half acres of gorgeous landscaped gardens.
The property sits on a quiet, semi-rural road, overlooking the Wombat State Forest, yet is just a few minutes walk from the bustling hub of Daylesford in Victoria’s central highlands. |
It is a lot like spending the weekend at an eclectic aunties house in the country but is only three minutes drive to the main shopping street of Daylesford.

Daylesford is a very beautiful highly sought after tourist destination. We are known for the health giving effervescant mineral water that you can pump ouf of the ground. It is also a popular romantic getaway option with Melburians seeking a Spa Country Getaway.
Daylesford is 90 minutes from the city with limited public transport options.
The train journey from the city takes 60 minutes and leaves from Southern Cross Station. The airport bus will drop you at the end of the platforms at Southern Cross so its just a very short undercover walk to get the train.
I can come and collect you from the Ballan train station which is 30 minutes from Daylesford.
The airport Skybus is $26 single round trip Tullamarine Airport to Southern Cross Station
The Vline Train from Southern Cross Station to Ballan will cost about $10 each way off peak and $15 each way during peak times - concession is much less - visit the VLine website to find exact costs and timetables.
The VLine train is clean, light, safe, and easy. Once you've cleared the suburbs of Melbourne its a very pretty ride through rural countryside.
Vline tickets also give you full access to Melbourne Trams and Trains to Zone 1 on the day of travel
Once I know who is coming we may be able to arrange ride sharing etc but I need to know who is coming when and where to make this happen.
Best you speak with me first and we will co-ordinate your travel plans - you will be best to leave Monday. Additional nights are $50 per room.
